CONCRETEDAYS GORINCHEM 2009

This year there will be the CONCRETEDAYS fair in Gorinchem. The fair is on 29, September 30 and October 1 open 13.00ht / m 21.00h. It is always possible to visiting the fair.
The new PLAZA DI CONCRETE are more companies which are engaged with the product reinforcement. Suppliers of steel, machinery and trainers are well represented in this "network show. Good chat and perhaps do business in a relaxed atmosphere.

MATEXPO, 1 - 6 September
This year there is the international exhibition in BELGIUM, Kortrijk.
Schnell will together with Belgium sales company VAN HAUT be present with the NEW SPIREX cagemachine and the BARWISER28 pack zero.
SPIREX spiralstirrup
SPIREX is an innovative machine proposed by Schnell, able to realize a continuous clamping of both beams and pillars of concrete.
SPIREX is a particular continuous stirrup, whose vertical arms are always vertical to the main reinforcement, while the horizontal arms diverge, determining the pitch (also variable) among the different stirrups.
The continuous stirrup SPIREX eliminates all the errors that may occur on the jobsite during the placing of the reinforcement. SPIREX is a single piece of steel rod, very fast and simple to use, which needs to match the original project of the engineer, without any possibility of negligence and damage.
Further advantages of the SPIREX are the following:
1. absolute accuracy in the number of stirrups in BEAM/PILLAR;
2. given that the “SPIREX continuous stirrups with vertical arms” are produced with a pre-established pitch,, STIRRUPS (spirals) are always in the right position along the reinforcement, even with variable pitches. The number and the position of the stirrups along the reinforcement can no longer be modified because of the negligence of the workers on the jobsite.
3. It is NOT important that every stirrup (spiral) be tied to the longitudinal bars of the reinforcement, because, as the stirrups are connected to each other, they DON’T move from their position during the pouring of the concrete;
4. The “SPIREX continuous stirrup with vertical arms” CANNOT open during an earthquake, as the traditional stirrup can (particularly in a pillar);
5. Great saving of time and cost of assembly, with a reduction of up to 70% in the installation time of the reinforcement.

BARWISER 28 pack zero
BAR WISER 28 is an extremely powerful profiling- stirrup bending machine with two bending heads to machine steel rods from bars. It has a machining capacity of up to 28 mm Ø single (#8), 20 mm Ø double (#6) or 12 mm Ø triple (#4). Because BAR WISER 28 is so flexible and powerful, it is particularly suitable for medium- to large-sized profiling centres as a substitute for the more traditional cutting bench and bending robot or, in general, centres whose aim is sorting onboard the machine. Thanks to the optional storage carriage, bars and profiles of different diameters and dimensions can automatically be classified. The carriage is automatically controlled by the machine control software.

SAIE2008 - BOLOGNA
The development of machines for processing reinforcing steel can goes ahead. This year there were again various new development. The home of some Italian manufacturers, including Schnell SpA, was busy as usual.
Schnell has shown some novelties such as a new type of rotor machine with multiple rotors including dual flex unit, special weldingmachine, a rotor straightener machine.
There was simultaneously a real house fair at the factory. Here, more than 10 different machine demonstrated. This exhibition, a house meshweldingmachine, cold drawingline, cutting machine in several types, doublebender, straightener machine and more completely ready for demo.

ASSEMBLER lasmachine
Shaped bars assembling plant producing structural meshes, meshes on request, baffles, wall septum, elements for plinths. Allows the production of flat wire mesh as well as meshes with profiled rods on one or both sides.
Multi Assembler is fully modular and characterised by very short setup times for both diameter and format changes of the mesh produced. These characteristics guarantee high flexibility and make the plant particularly suitable for the production of small and very small batches of wire mesh.

Cageswelding machine GTM telescope
Machine for the production of round cages with welded spirals and pre-set pitch.
The machine is characterized by a reduced longitudinal length.
The welding process is performed by a mobile unit and the bar loading zone is a telescope, for this reason, during the welding operation, the length decreases while the welding head moves forward.
It is equipped with payoff, dial for the longitudinal bars, hydraulic cage supports, 1 fixed and 1 mobile bored plates, electronic console to control plate rotation.
